Do I need to pay a deposit?
Deposits are essential to secure an appointment – No booking is confirmed without one being paid in full. The deposit amount will be decided by your artist and taken off the total on the day. This is NON-refundable. Should you need to move an appointment, we require 72hrs notice to rearrange and this can only be done once before we require a new deposit.
How old do I have to be to get a tattoo?
You must be 18 years old, regardless of parental consent. This is the law (Tattooing of Minors Act 1969) Photographic ID will be required. No exceptions.
I'm pregnant/nursing, can I get tattooed?
Unfortunately not. It is not advisable to undergo any tattooing procedure during this period. There is a very slim chance of passing on an infection to your baby however, it is always better to be safe than sorry. If you are having any issues with existing tattoos please do get in touch for advice.
Does it hurt?
The simplest answer is, yes. Tattoos by nature do hurt, although not as much as some might have you believe. After a short period of time your body’s natural pain killers (endorphins) kick in and make things much more manageable. Some areas may hurt more than others and everyones pain threshold varies. We will always aim to make you as comfortable as possible and recommend you follow our preparation guidelines.
Do you do cover-ups?
We do offer cover ups but we will need to see the tattoo in person and discuss ideas and options.
Is there anything I should do before my appointment?
Make sure you’ve had a good nights sleep and something to eat.
Can I Bring My Children?
Unfortunately no children are allowed in our designated tattoo areas although they are more than welcome in our reception for any enquiries or consultations.
